Does anybody know the if Peerless 930-042 and 930-045 interchange with one another?

I haven't found on those specs numbers. Being 930 series you need to do some measuring as there were multiple speeds and some that designed to reverse driven according the service manual I have.

Maybe you can check with ToroRedIron to see he has anything on them. If I remember correctly he knows a quite a bit about Tecumsehes. I haven't seen him post since joining but you should be able email him just mention this forum and that I suggested you contact him.

Will not work in place of the 930-042. The 930-045 is a 5 speed. The 930-042 is a 6 speed. My hunt continues for a 930-042.
