Karcher Pressure Washer

I have a Karcher Pressure washer with a Honda engine.

It had run perfectly for 5-6 years but this year trouble.
This engine has a vacumn activated fuel pump.

The engine will run for a few second and then die. By using the chock it will run very rough but also die after a few seconds.

I have cleaned the carb and the fuel strainer/filter and replaced the fuel pump.

Any other suggestions?

The posting of your equipment numbers would be a good start.

As for cleaning the carburetor, How did you clean it?

Most likely the carb is still gummed up. But drop the bowl and make sure you have a good fuel flow through the needle valve.

to clean that carb, remove jet and emulsion tube from bottom of carb, remove phillip screw from top of carb, clean ports vertical and horizontal under phillip screw
clean jet and emulsion tube (small hole in side), use carb cleaner spray,compressed air and frog hair

So I took the carb apart and cleaned all the jets and pasages. Ran a fine with through the holes in the "emulsion" tube and jets then blew it our with air. Didn't have any carb cleaner.

But it still does the same thing. When it first fires it runs well for about 5 seconds. Then it sputters even with working the chock. It seem like it has lots of fuel to start with and then runs out of gas.

Any more ideas.The fuel pump is good becasue when I first put it on I forgot to plug in the vacumn hose and pulled started until I was exhausted then when I connected the vacumn hose at least it fired right off to start.

Frog hair? Please advise..

frog hair, very fine wire, same size as frog hair, can barely see it

Frog hair is much thinner than a fuzz, smaller than a skoche, and smaller still from the other hair.
All very scientific types of measurements.

I think the carb needs a dip in the ultrasonic, one of the best things I ever bought. Or at least some carb cleaner .
