Might have helped to make the original post a little more clear - it doesn't "read" like someone familiar with the machine - still not sure what is meant by outside screws that go down.. unless you're talking "Prison English" :shock: :lol:

But as mentioned, if you mean the 2 screws to either side of the flywheel nut (or where it would be) then you'd wanna pull those out and use the holes for a flywheel puller.. but other than that, if you have access to the flywheel nut and the 2 screw holes to either side of it (within an inch or so) , you're good to go with using a puller - no other easy way to remove it, without risking damaged crank or busted flywheel (or bearing plate)

Ya might wanna re-read your original post. As BG alluded to, don't sound like ya know what yer doin'. Though I do believe he may have put it much more nicely,no?
As was mentioned, I, as well as others have no Idea what two screws your talkin about, but I'm pretty sure they ain't got nothin' to do with holding the flywheel on. Might help if ya took a pitcher of em'!
