i have a shredder 10 hp briggs horizontal engine POWERBUILT no. 204412 type 0276EI . with aprox 150 hrs with a guarantee ended ( 4 years ) the maintenance of the equipment was always maintain
the engine start to smoke last fall ++ with high consumption of oil while i was shredding leaves .so i assume it was the head cylinder gasket blown.
so starting the week i overall the engine head cylinder .everything was done thoroughly with the best of my knowledge .(i have a mechanical degree )
SURPRISE ,when i start the engine , ... the engine work very fine but smoking very badly .i can not understand why , because everything was done right, (new gasket, torquing sequence, cleanliness ) right now i am thinking of a badly sit gasket or a broken oil ring .first thing i gonna try to dump the old gas in case . then what ....
PLEASE HELP ( BRIAN ) and everyone else for advise
thanks
