Primer bulb not working

Hey guys,I have a stihl FS130R weed eater.It would not crank and no gas was in the primer bulb so I removed the carb disassembled ,cleaned installed new kit ressembled.I put new fuel lines and fuel filter on.It runs great now but primer bulb still not working.any suggestions.

I would said fuel lines connect backwards but you wrote it now rums great so that won't be the issue.

The primer base PN A056106 is either clogged and its check valve(s) are struck. You can try several cleaning in an Ultrasonic cleaner to unclog them. Sometimes it works but not all the time. Don't try probing them as they are tiny flat pieces of rubber with a tiny springs holding closed; easily damaged.

This part can be only purchase from a Stihl dealer.

Also, make sure the bulb itself is not the issue...cracked and leaking air? MH
