Tanaka TBL-7600

Owner complained it's lazy and doesn't rev as high as it used to.

Top speed was 5200.
I torched the ugly spark arrestor screen and it went to 6800.
Took out the air cleaner (pretty ugly in itself, to be replaced) and it went to 7000.

The throttle is opening all the way, and it's not lazy any more.
Compression is 110#, warm.

I don't have a spec for top speed. Is 7000 about it?

Yep Yes per owners operator manual.

Rpm range 2000 - 7000

Just lucky this time.

I wish the manufactures would get back making good user manuals too. Some of the manuals I see lately are such a joke isn't funny that includes the parts and service manuals that I find.
