carb kit install question

Postby jwales » Mon Feb 09, 2015 11:24 am

Carb kit is for an HSMK80 on a Toro blower. Specifically the seat. Is there a top and/or bottom when placing in the carb?? The new seat looks to have a little ridge of rubber protruding in the ring center.

Thanks

The smooth side faces the needle valve, the ridge side seats against the bore lip.

To help clarify what Jwales was asking about here is a picture of the rubber seat along with needle. As Grunt posted the side shown goes into carburetor seat area first with smooth side facing the needle. This is the same for Briggs rubber seats that has a groove on one side.
