Pulsa - Prime Carburetor Design Change

Postby KE4AVB » Tue Jan 27, 2015 6:08 am

Don't if anyone has run into this but there is a design change to pulsa-prime that you beware of. ADDED INFO: This was found on a 10T600 series dated 9/27/2011

They change the nozzle set to include a metal jet. This jet can become dislodged and can easily lost if your not paying attention on dis-assembly. You lose it it a new carburetor as it is not available separately. This info was obtain thru the OutdoorKing Forum and the images were provided by the user Bigted on that site.

Images of the part removed, the jet itself, and the part install. Note taper end goes in first. These are shown along with old style carburetor.

When it comes to Pulsa-Prime carburetors, the 495475 is the best. Just my opinion.
