part arrived via ups yesterday and I re-assembled the generator last night.filled it full of oil and gas and pulled the cord.its been sitting outside purring like a kitten for the past 5 hours.in the box that my rotor set and bearing came in was a rotor as well.damn thing has no part number on it but it appears to be the same as the one in my ex 650.is there a way to identify the rotors?

thanks

I don't know about the rotor, but don't forget to get your break-in oil out of there.
Glad you got it going.

Of the ones that I have taken the alternators apart there were no numbers on any them either.

I have been lucky so far to have only one rotor fried and it would have cost nearly as much as generator not counting my labor so the customer opted for a new replacement generator instead.

im gonna take it into the Honda dealer and see if they can identify.this rotor came with the bearing pressed onto the shaft.looks like it might be for a 1000 Honda.seen one on ebay and they look similar.
