Echo HC-150 Possible Resell Value

Postby KE4AVB » Mon Jan 26, 2015 12:22 pm

I have an Echo HC-150 hedge trimmer that ended up needing a new cylinder and piston. What I wondering is what is the possible resell value that I could I try to sell it for when rebuilt. I don't know if it is worth putting a hundred into it. It was donated to me by one of my customers.

This one is dress in grey like the HC-1500 and not in red/orange like the HC-150's I find online.

New HC-152 (the smallest from Echo) sell for $289.95 so I would say the HC-150 might run around $100 - $125 resale value - OPE Blue Book for a 2008 HC-150 shows new retail $279.95, trade value $80-$95 and Average Retail $120 and that is assuming they are in *excellent* condition. I wouldn't put a hundred bucks into one.. unless you think you can get enough out of it to make a profit.
