Briggs Opposed Twin Stator

Postby makeemrun » Mon Apr 07, 2014 4:28 pm

ok here goes. I have a Briggs Twin II Opposed motor here. model number 402437-1206-01 ser 87101512. it came in off of a machine with no charge issue. after pulling flywheel there is no wires coming of stator. checking book it has the small magnets under flywheel. does anyone have a clue which stator comes on this motor and am I going to need a regulator also? Thanx again for all the help.

There 3 versions available. Are you needing to power a electric PTO or other item that need up 10 amps? The 10A version would need a regulator.

I will check with the customer in the morning. I believe he said it was on a skidster.

Skid steers typically don't use an electric clutch, in which case the dual circuit stator # 393474 will work fine. You may need the wire connector assy #399916 also.
The 16A stator listed will only put out 10A with the small magnet flywhl. That is more than enough if the unit uses an electric clutch. You will need the reg. also.
