Oil/Air Filter/Belt Lookup

Postby Matt » Sun Apr 27, 2014 11:38 pm

if you need to lookup or cross reference an oil/air filter or belt, use one of these sites. plug in your manufacturers part number and it will cross to theres and all filters applicable as the gates site does for belts and such. nothing like being able to go to one of the local autoparts stores and get a good quality filter or belt thats usually always in stock and cheaper rather than having to wait or pay from a supplier. the fram site will give you all filter numbers so you are not limited to supplier.

can do the same thing, only a little more OPE-Specific and focused, at www.stens.com, as well as Oregon's website, and I am sure most of the other major aftermarket suppliers are not too far behind on bringing their own lookups to the web.

Let's not forget one of my long-standing favorites :http://outdoorpowerinfo.com/. The site is a veritable cornucopia of small engine information, not just good, reliable carb. info. Click on the "belts", I think you'll be surprised.
Stens belts have always worked good. I've been using belts made by PIX for a while now, they are a great fit, seem to last as long or longer, and are a tad cheaper.
