Kawasaki Part Number Needed

Postby Skywatcher » Fri May 02, 2014 11:50 pm

Greetings All

In my shop, I have an older 14 hp Kawasaki engine that needs a new float bowl gasket. The engine is a Kawasaki KF150D-SX, 581cc serial #316523B. As I say, this is an older side valve unit with the removable cast iron cylinder and first generation solid state ignition behind the flywheel. The carburetor looks to be identical to the carburetors used on the early JD AMT-600 All Material Transporter. I've contacted my local JD dealer who say the part number for the gasket subs up to a complete carburetor for well over $300.00. A float bowl gasket for a carter carburetor used on the Kohler engines is a bit too small so if anyone could find the part number for a replacement float bowl gasket, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks and all the best,

Sky
