Mice and new wiring biodegradable insulation.

Postby StarTech » Fri May 09, 2014 8:00 am

I was surfing the Husqvarna equipment forum and across about mice going hog wild over the new biodegradable wire insulation. It supposedly made from a soybean product. Sounds like another one of the great EPA ideas to me (you guys know what I mean hopefully).

Just wondering if any of you have had any problems with this? Now I do mice like to chew on everything in front of them but this sounds like the insulation is attracting them to it as it a food based product. One person reported that parked his ZTR in his storage building and two days when he went to use it all the wiring was cut to pieces.

I have been wondering what that new sticky pepper spray ( MACE) would do to deter them....
