Was working on one of these yesterday, on a Coleman generator. I was cleaning an ugly cab and changing the oiI. removed the oil drain plug and along with the oil, came out a rocker arm pivot pin, with clip. :o (Items 200 and 202 on "intake exhaust" page here: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/subaru ... 36681.html )
The customers son bought it new, never been apart. I guess someone dropped it on the assembly line and didn't retrieve it?

He didn't seem phazed one way or another. I did tell him that it looked like a valve train or governor part, and that it obviously wasn't critical. :o
