Again if it is new, and under warranty, take it back to the dealer for warranty repairs ASAP because something ain't right. Could be your belt is not routed right, clutch pedal or brake adjustment, jammed brake, or could be a bad hydro unit - But, you need to stop using it and take it to dealer right away , continued use of a unit in that condition, if there is internal damage under warranty, can cause more damage that could easily be taken as "abuse or neglect"
If you get it fixed under warranty, you don't need our advice here. There's lots of things that can make a hydro do what you describe, but on a brand new machine, most if not all of them are warranty covered, if not caused by the user doing something they shouldn't (And generally, Lawn and Yard tractors are not really built for hauling firewood!)
