Right on BGS. Just ask anyone with a diesel truck made in the last few years. Exhaust gas re-circulation is how they deal with emissions but it causes many unnecessary problems and kills the mpg. Simple solution to the OP's issue. Buy an engine with some engineering behind it.

:) Remove that torch spark plug and install a BPR6ES NGK gapped at .030 and see if that improves your non-firing issue. :usa:
