this compressor is new to me.
I got the parts today and have a question about the valve stem seal.
The old one was brass with a rubber top
The new one is all rubber. It doesn't seem to fit to tight. should I use some loctite on it?

Your relief valve is all rubber? Not aware of any lock-tite that would do this but you don't need it anyhow. Did that fix it?

Should be fine without anything put on it. They use all rubber valve stems in automobile engine for years without problem other than normal wear problems. Below should be the seal you received unless they changed it again...

Thats the one. i put it on and it seems to work fine. The engine is running good. Got the pressure up to 175. Now I am adjusting the Idle control.
