I'm helping my brother with an engine he has on his edger. It's a Craftsman engine, #143-661052 SER 7167B, with a Walbro LMB 64 float carburetor. According to the Sears parts lookup, this engine originally came with a diaphragm carburetor, so somewhere along the way the carburetor for this engine was swapped for the Walbro LMB64. It looks like it's a very old carburetor, with both idle and high speed jet adjustments, and what appears to be a vent tube that comes out of the mounting flange and extends into the bore of the intake manifold. There is also a "9" and a "2" stamped onto the opposite side. I'm not able to find a parts listing for this carburetor.
- Can anyone provide the part numbers for the float and rebuild kit?
- Or, does the LMB 64 cross-reference to another Walbro carburetor for which I can look up the part numbers?
- As a last resort, could anyone provide the number of the correct carburetor for this engine?
Thank you.
