Have a Briggs and Stratton 100292 off of an Ariens front tine tiller model 902004.
It's a 4 horse with the "well" in the tank.
The carb has the 2 fuel pickup tubes and it's an older one since it has the brass tubes not the nylon ones. I've got it all back together and it starts on one pull, which is nice.
The carb is not choke-a-matic. It has a choke knob on the end of the carb, but no linkage to it. I'm thinking that it is "pull to choke," and "push to disable choke," but I can't find anything descriptive of its function in the notes, and there are no engravings on the carb to indicate. It will start in either position from cold, and it will run in either position. It is smoking a bit on throttling up. Can anyone shed light on the matter? MH
