I can tell your a very logical person. If there is no apparent need for the information then why do you need it. So, here it is. Later on I might be powering a small project, homemade generator, or even maybe a golf cart or something. I am not sure of what right now just want to do a project involving a small engine. It will be something fast, cheap, and I really just need a cheap engine.

So the point of this post is just information gathering, just to see what's out there. So that being said, anybody know of a vtwin or even a diesel?

Google or bing search "cheap small diesel engines"

I think the forum you were looking for was Pi..... Poor Equipment. I could rant for hours on this issue. I charge double my normal shop rate to work on Chinese junk engines not because they are so hard to work on but because the owner is part of the problem that we have created in America. No good paying jobs because quality is no longer at the top of purchase considerations.

So you wanna pay $3000 for a TV so people here can have "good paying jobs". I can remember when people said that about Hondas....

10hp, EPA approved diesel, $609 shipped. Really wanted to put one of these on my snowblower . . . Why ?? Just because I could. But I do worry about where I'd get parts if something failed as a $99 dollar Predator is throw away but a six hundred dollar engine I'd want to fix.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not fix !!
