Former Perr Forum Apparent Shut Down

Just a heads up to former Perr members...

As late this afternoon I tried logging into Perr to link a service manual and found that is no longer available. Bruce's main site is still up but if you click the Technical Forum button it re-routes you to PPETEN.

Hmm,, Bruce picked a good day for it.. LOL! have to check back in a few days to make sure it isn't just the day's laugh..

But I do seem to recall he mentioned his plans were to leave the forum read-only from January 1 then give it a few months and delete the whole thing.

Hi Everyone - I did removed the forum from the internet on April 1st after 3 months of read only. I originally intended to leave it read only for a month or two and decided after 3 months to remove it. I think this forum has taken off good and you should be able to get any information you need from this great bunch of guys. Thanks for all the years of support on the PER forum.

Were heading out in about a week on a trip to Grand Coulee dam for a few days, but I do drop in on this forum occasionally. I did leave up the Onan information and the PER notebook for anyone that needs to refer to them on perr.com. Take care everyone - Bruce :D

PS - I have been keeping busy. My treadmill quit working yesterday and I had to get the Fluke out and troubleshoot it. Traced the problem to a blown fuse on the motor control board. This was cause by a sticky belt on the base board, overloading the motor, so I bought a lube kit and it works like new again. It took a special slow blow fuse, which I finally found 1 only in Yakima. Just like the old days, nothings simply.
