If it is older hs50 i doubt it has that plastic nozzle with theo rings. probably the bowl nut with the small idle hole.

I looked at the code stamped on the carburetor last night: 1085 E7N
When I look up that stamped number on the list that grunt provided, the carburetor number that comes up is 632107.

Now we are getting somewhere!

KE4AVB suggested the engine numbers might be HS50 67266G. Per partstree, that engine has carburetor 640084B (replaces 632107). Kit # is 632760B.

Back to partstree. Lookup part 632107, Partstree indicates the Tecumseh kit for 632107 would be kit # 31840.

I will order up Kit # 31840. (as orginally specified by KE4AVB early in the thread). Experience is a great thing. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again for your help. I would not have gotten the right kit without your guidance.
And for me, who does this as more of a mental therapy, this was a great learning experience.
