HS50 Carb Rebuild Kit Question

Pay attention to the nozzle upper O ring. Make sure you get it out. Sometimes it will stick in the nozzle bore and ya gotta use a small flat blade screwdriver to scrape it out. I always lube all the O rings and bowl seal, as well as the needle seat, with a dab o grease.

If it is older hs50 i doubt it has that plastic nozzle with theo rings. probably the bowl nut with the small idle hole.

I looked at the code stamped on the carburetor last night: 1085 E7N
When I look up that stamped number on the list that grunt provided, the carburetor number that comes up is 632107.

Now we are getting somewhere!

KE4AVB suggested the engine numbers might be HS50 67266G. Per partstree, that engine has carburetor 640084B (replaces 632107). Kit # is 632760B.

Back to partstree. Lookup part 632107, Partstree indicates the Tecumseh kit for 632107 would be kit # 31840.

I will order up Kit # 31840. (as orginally specified by KE4AVB early in the thread). Experience is a great thing. Thanks for sharing.
