Hello all .As I said in and earlier post the flywheel key is fine.I made a homemade leakdown tester today and tested each cylinder.I set regulator to 50psi and opened the air valve to the cylinder and it maintained 48 psi.Does this sound ok?

Thanks,Glenn

Thanks us know the solution. I just had a Briggs V-twin where the intake lobe was worn nearly round. Customer was having to use a car battery to start the engine. Found that by checking the overall lift of the valves.
