Girlie weed wacker

Postby Back » Sun Jun 08, 2014 1:43 pm

Hey all

Now that I have that old Toro tc3100 Pro running good my wife wants to get away from her electric one and get a gas powered one :o

The question is is there a weed wacker that a 5 foot tall 90 lbs non mechanical woman can handle or is it more head ach for me?

Bless

Check out the Echo GT-225 Though it might be a little on the heavy side, if you splurge for a shoulder strap kit along with it they are easy to start, quite reliable, and not overly heavy - Dry Weight w/ Cutting head 10.1 Lbs
How poor are they who have not patience. What wound did ever heal, but by degrees? - Iago (Othello Act II, Scene 3)

A few fellows bought the battery powered ones & are satisfied with icy for around the house. I'm thinking one got a black & Decker & the other a Ryobi

as BG says the echo gt 225 would be a great choice, but the gt225I would be easier for her to start due to its spring loaded starter.
