LOL If need be I will drill 2 holes and, and on the tank hole I will stretch it with a sweep reemer then on the lever side tack weld a small nut then lock it in position with a bolt to stop it from falling out. It will just make for a slower high idle adjustment. I already used a shoulder bolt 5/16 dia. and 2 washers to temp. hold the lever in place and can still pivot. lol

I think that fixed it. now when I try to look up parts for it I get model cannot be found??? M.# is100212 T# is 0583-01 I can only find 0583-99 lol. can anyone find the tank part # thanks in advance.

Using "-99" on the older units is pretty much what ya gotta do. You should be able to get the correct tank part number. Myself, I'd prolly fix the worn out hole with a welded on washer or sumpin'.

I found a few tanks on ebay last night that look like they will work ranging from $40 to $65, I ran a 1500 watt griddle for about 30 mins last night with no problems, then pluged in the window unit in my shed for almost an hour it is 950 watts.
Being as I only have about $35 total in this thing I dont think it will hurt to buy a new tank. Its main use is going to be for camping, Small pop up camper with power inverter and converter, mainly just to charge the batteries back up during the day,lol and if 1 of them on ebay wont fit I will run down to Fore Timber Co. They used to have a mower and tiller junkyard around 2 acres. I would rather fix it permanent than take a chance on having to work on it when im trying to relax.
