:) You have the something isn't right part cprrect. I have already pulled the sump and found the cam off by 2 teeth, corrected that. I thinking I do not have the valves adjusted right. Will take another look at them. :usa:

:) Installed steel flywheel key and torqued flywheel to 110 ft lbs, reset mag air gap, Engine fired right off. Engine has a mis-fire at all throttle postions,it eventually goes away as it warms up. I did notice while having the flywheel off, on the inside their is a magnet missing but I do not think that is causing the mis-fire. I mixed some Sea-Foam in some fresh gas to see if that helped the mis-fire. if anyone has any ideas/suggestions on the mis-fire, it will greatly appreciated. :usa:

Sounds like an air leak somewhere, possibly a sticking valve, blown head gasket, or just a bad spark plug?

Just doing my regular (but this time overdue) generator runs. One has a slight miss so I pulled the plug. It was black enough (clue). I changed it and miss still there. If I close the fuel valve it eventually clears up but reappears as soon as I open it. I drained the bowl in case it was just a bit of crap and ran some out but the problem persists so I guess I am pulling the carb.
