Postby Deere2me » Sat Sep 20, 2014 8:49 am

I know...I know.... How can that be?????

Anybody else havin' problems using cut and paste on here? Seems it won't work for me, but appears to be only on this site. Just recently started acting up. Just updated my Firefox, still not workin'.
In order to post a link, I have to drag an drop.

Cut and paste from Notepad

Works for me - and I use firefox.

Could be your browser, antivirus,or firewall security settings, java may need to be updated, a firefox addon causing issues, etc.

No problems here, but I do know of some websites I have had issues with IE cut and paste until I turned off (or on) some setting (I forgot which, its too long ago)

But it was not caused by the website- it was caused by some security setting in browser , or maybe it was anti virus, or windows firewall - something or the other was preventing copy/paste either by right click or by Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V until I changed a setting somewhere.

Lemme try this again. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/

Edit. Got it workin. Seems it quit workin when I moved the "cut/copy/paste" buttons out of the menu box and directly onto the toolbar. Moved em back and looks to be good to go.

I work on an application that gives me a message that copy and paste don't work in firefox when I try via 'edit' but I can do it with ctrl-c and ctrl-v.
