I picked up that primer that KE4VAB suggested and hooked it up. works great. Thanks for all the help everyone. Some of these old ones are a real project when you can't get parts for them. The belt was in ok shape but the part number JA990812 was not available as well. I measured it with a cloth tape and it is about 1/2" wide with 6 V ribs and it is about 38 1/2" inches long. I wish I could find a cross reference number. I have to beleive this belt is not unique to this particular unit.

if you have any place in the system that tension could be adjusted, you might get away with a 380J6 or 390J6 belt

The size for the belt you need would be 385J6 but I don't know as they have them in that size .. maybe a 385J5 could get by (5 ribs)

It is the 380J6 belt as BGS quotes according what I can find on the JA990812 (38" .092"J section 6 rib).
