track drive snow blower

Postby bigbore94 » Sat Dec 21, 2013 7:38 pm

Sears Canada snowblower (MTD) part number 631-0002 track drive wheel. We actually would like to buy two. New or used. NLA in Canada and I can't find any aftermarket.

Thanks, Mike

Hi Starfire

Excellent link. I've had one of these tracked blowers sitting in my yard for 2 years because sprockets are NLA. I'll forward this link to my customer, I think he'll be rather pleased. Thanks again,

Sky

My customer will be extremely pleased even though the price and shipping is unreasonable.

Hi Mike

Where are you located? My wife has a drop off point in Montana for items shipped from the US and she goes down there several times a year. If I'm planning on ordering a pair, I could combine shipping to Montana ($12.00/pair), pick them up then send a pair on by Greyhound, Canpar or whomever gives the best rate. All the best,

Sky

I know the price is high but what we end up dealing with when the demand is higher than the supply. As for shipping it can be high even here sometimes especially for us that ship infrequently.

I had to go through the same thing for a rod for a 170000 series Briggs engine this summer. It is no longer but I was able to get one through a NOS supplier at about 3-1/2 times what it was before it became NLA. The customer was still please that he got late 80's Troy-Bilt tiller repaired. Actually he got a rebuilt engine out of the deal for about half the cost of a new engine.

I`m good with the price. My customer seemed to think it was high before I told him I would give him 50 bucks for the machine as is. I`m in Prince George, BC. No biggie on the shipping. I have to pay 12% tax when it arrives as well. I`m really glad they are available again. I can tell every small engine shop in PG.
PS -- it`s snowing.
